Cooking Tips & Recipes
Bring your Scottish Highland grass-fed beef to room temperature before cooking. Don't overcook! Your beef can go from perfectly cooked to overcooked in less than a minute.
STEAK
When grilling, sear a steak quickly over high heat on each side to seal in its natural juices. After searing, reduce the heat to a medium or low and then try 3-4 minutes for the first side and 2-3 minutes for the second. Lest rest in foil for five minutes.
BURGERS
Grass-fed Highland burgers are 85-90% lean. Cook on high 3-4 minutes for the first side and 2-3 minutes for the second. Lest rest in foil for 5 minutes.
ROAST
Sear the beef first to lock in the juices and then place in a low temp. pre-heated oven or crockpot on low all day.
